In between sips of champagne, guests including Gigi Mortimer browsed the discount inventory and mingled with 57's founder, Jennifer Vaughan Maanavi, and the master instructor/choreographers of the new series, Tanya Becker and Shelly Knight. Pink Agenda, teamed up with GuestofaGuest and Fame Game over the weekend to host a pool party benefiting The Breast Cancer Research Foundation and Susan G. Just when you thought two nights of AXE-tastic adventures at Dune was more than you could handle, they added Thursday night into the mix for a jam-packed holiday weekend. Dune Owner and nightlife pro, Matt Shendell took the night off and joined Los Angeles native and Sin City fave, DJ Vice, the rowdy boys of Team Facelift, and a booze-crazed group of July 4th weekend early birds inside AXE Lounge to kick off the festivities ahead of schedule last Thursday night. No stranger to a room full of over-eager party goers, Matt Shendell joined in on the fun letting loose with friends while DJ Vice perfectly worked the crowd into a frenzy with a little help from a performance by The Fat Jew, Fonda, and Machine of Team Facelift. ----

The boys of Team Facelift, celebrated the unofficial release of their new album with a performance and party at AXE Lounge in Southampton Thursday night and what better way to kick off the Fourth of July weekend than with the New York-bred trio including Fonda, Machine, and The Fat Jew. We stopped by just in time for the boys whose "aim is basically to do to rap what Elton John did to being gay" to take the mic performing for the surprisingly packed Thursday night crowd. We had a chance to chat with the kimono-clad "Fat Jew" who gave us the privilege of fluffing his afro and rubbing his belly before promising a future interview as soon as everyone was drunk enough to participate...
