New month, new Pink Elephant photos!  They have just posted two new albums up on the site, and, of course we couldn’t resist!  Though these aren’t as sparkly as the rest.  A couple of things are hinting that there might be some cutting back down in Pinkville: First, they seem to be cutting back on their use of sparklers; and second, the dancers uniforms are PAINTED on.  Talk about a creative way to save money! I want to know where they find paint to use that doesn’t smear when placed in contact with sweat…could have come in handy back in my high school cheer leading days.

[Who invited him?!]

Sunday night, at the Super Bowl Party at the Plaza, our table was somewhat horrified at the sight of a girl that nearby, wearing a see-through tasselled shirt, bare belly hanging out above her low-rise jeans.  Let’s just put it this way, she wasn’t exactly dressed the part at the event, which could have been a substitute for a scene straight out of Gossip Girl.  “Who invited HER?” Andrew next to me exclaimed.  “Hey, what a funny title for a new feature on GofG!”  We loved the idea. Forget the crisis on Wall Street, Pink Elephant is here for you ex-bankers.  This answers our question about the fate of our city’s clubs.  27th street looked to be alive and well on September 25th.  Brings back memories of confetti driven comas.
