Remember your maiden voyage out to the Hamptons at the start of the summer? It was probably Memorial Day, you probably had too many people in your car, and the traffic was probably too much too handle. For us: Check, check and check, as you can see here by this pic of the GofG-mobile... More»
[James Gager, Marilyn Minter, Photo by DAVID X PRUTTING for PMc] True to our word, GofG follows through with our second installment to the MAC Cosmetics celebration held last night. This time, we're taking a jaunt through the Marilyn Minter Studio, rubbing elbows with the fantastically well-done faces. More»

Song: She Moves In Her Own Way
Even though we jokingly mock a lot of the vacationers out here in the Hamptons (between the botox and the binges, some people just make it too easy), but it's all in good fun - most of the time. More»
While most people in the fashion industry are eager for any form of publicity they can scrounge up, this certainly does not ring true for Britt Aboutaleb, the associate editor for Fashionista.com, the style website with the cult-like following. When a picture of the 24 year-old popped up on Altamira only months ago, the responses, while all positive, were ones of "Oh, that's what she looks like!". And her PMc count remains at a low 5 pictures, despite the countless events she attends every week for her high profile job. So why does the adorable young editor shroud herself in an air of mystery? It's certainly not due to a lack of style. Nor a lack of shyness - Fashionista.com is known for their "Life With" feature, an interview section of their site that takes an in-depth look at professionals and individuals involved in the fashion industry, with each lengthy one-on-one usually conducted by Britt. So why the hide-out? More»
[Photo via Style.com] You might think what Derek Blasberg does best is galloping around town, serving as a contributer to top fashion publications like Vogue, and churning out Blasblog, his column on Style.com. But it looks like his true talent might lie in creating the latest socialite slang. After the word "jain" started popping up on Twitter accounts like @theLSD (Lauren Santo Domingo), @ByrdieBell, and @dizzyblazeberg (Derek's own) a few months ago, just to name a few, we started to wonder what this term meant. Used in a similiar way as "fetch", the word Gretchen Weiners tried to make desperately happen to no prevail in Mean Girls, "jain" seemed to mean cool, great, awesome, but... not quite....
Our party-going GofG Hamptons readers have voted (582 of you to be exact!) and the winner has officially been decided. First place with 38% of the votes goes to (da da da da da drum roll please).... the man-spray-loving Team AXE! Really? AXE?! Guess all that musky guy perfume is working in their favor and attracting the masses. More»
This boy-about-everywhere gets his own special category for "Clothes Make...". Kristian Lalibarte is never one to disappoint with his attire, and he's keeping the tradition going for another season here in the Hamptons. After looking especially dapper at the Social Life party on Saturday, and again for the private dinner the following night, we were eager to see what he would have in store for his casual wear. More»
Pop-up shops seem to be... well, popping up all over the place this summer. But one we're really excited about is Steven Alan's beachy casual boutique, located on 52 Newton Lane, in East Hampton. The larger-than-life designer literally does it all (showroom manager, jet-setter, dad) - including opening up a store in three days. No wonder he was struggling to hold on to his voice by the time I got him on the phone yesterday. After meeting him on Sunday, it was a pleasure talking to him again - the guy who has been called a "hipster icon", and designer I've been following since I went in search of the perfect button down, is about as laid-back and cool as his clothing. Here he talks to G of G about the pop-up shop, his Hampton favorites, his Birthday, and just about everything else in between. More»

Social Life magazine held a party at the "Social Life Estate" in honor of their new abode, new cover-girl and of course Memorial Day weekend. The party was a precursor to the private dinner being held the next night to celebrate both the designer Sergio Rossi and Alexandra Richard's cover and photo shot by Alexis Dahan in the style of Grace Kelly. At Robert Fowler, Candice McCullough, Suzanne DeMambro, and Kerry McVey's country club chic Memorial Day fete, (write up to follow),where everyone seemed to be concentrating more on their cocktails and conversation than their surroundings, a big announcement was about to be made. The crowd was hushed by a fellow party-goer, a space was cleared, and Alex McCord and Simon van Kempen took center stage in the middle of the room. No, they weren't disclosing information about the Real Housewives of New York's next season, so what was it? Alex is pregnant? More nude photos? More»
