However, these days this activity, which many consider to be a legitimate "sport" has had a new makeover. From housewives to metropolitan women, many are joining in the fun by taking "pole dancing" classes to get fit. Heck, Oprah even does it! Last night, six of America's most skillful pole dancers competed infront of an audience of ogle-eyed spectators at the Highline Ballroom for a chance to win $10k, and take home this years title of "The Pole Superstar."
