"Say Good Bye To Mr. Bush"
Your Mr. Bush that is. This ad for Townhouse Spa and Beauty Bar, showcasing their 40% off a bikini or Brazilian wax is the best inaugural promo advert email newsletter we've seen yet. Townhouse Spa, on 56th street in NYC, a "classy" place, accurately identified a Bush issue that maybe Republican and Democrat women can all agree upon. In fact, as Chris said, this may be the first good thing that Bush has done for women in 8 years. More»
Cityfile acquired the statements of the Walter and Monica Noel Family Foundation for 2006 which showed $169,000 in donations. Compared to the many millions of dollars in fees he made funneling his investors money into Bernard Madoff, it seems relatively small. And given the large overhead costs of running a foundation it almost seems not really worth the effort. Moreover, many of the "donations" look to be in the amount of a ticket or "social toll" to a charity gala, essentially a write off for a night on the town. The Democratic Leadership for the 21st Century (DL21C), decided to host their Election Day party at a venue that matches up with their long, big name. New World Stages, located on West 50th Street , actually boasts about 60, 000 sq feet of space which was taken over by DL21C last night. Guests watched the states' results on 15 feet screen projections elections surrounded by patriotic balloons, booze, and pro-Obama accessories. Guests included the cast of the hit show Altar Boyz, Chris London, Council Memmber Eric Gioia, Luke Parkin, Michael Cooper, Elizabeth Caputo, Jack Layton and of course many, many more!

So what do the NYC most social think of last night's election results? We have been on the phone, on facebook, email, and text all morning to get some of our favorite "guests" reactions. We have several socials so far...send us yours to be added!
We hope you are getting out to vote today. As an added incentive, if you didn't know, Starbucks is giving out free coffee to voters everyone all day, and Ben & Jerry's is giving out free ice cream from 5-8pm. Once you have voted, you can gather at these places to watch the returns roll in, maybe with a drink in hand, certainly with other involved people alongside, keeping the debate alive till the last minute! PLUS, the NonSociety girls will be LIVE BLOGGING from the "CNN Grill" in Columbus Circle. Julia Allison is excited about the election, especially because it provides her with another dress up themed opportunity.
