There's only really two ways to get many of the biggest names and most well-respected actors on the planet in one room. The first way is to give out golden statues, and we just wrapped that up last week. The second way, on the other hand, is to offer them parts in a project that's too prestigious, well-written or morally important to pass up, and preferably all three. This, it seems, is how half of Hollywood was involved in this weekend's staged reading at the Wilshire Ebell of Academy Award-winning writer Dustin Lance Black's new play "8", which tells the story of the recent appeals court decision declaring gay-marriage ban Proposition 8 to be unconstitutional. Peter Davis has made protesting Prop 8 a black tie affair.   He also found a list of those individuals and organizations that have donated money to the campaign that seeks to ban same sex marriages called the "antigayblacklist". YOWZA! And, while the west coast homophobes may have won the Proposition 8 fight, they will never win the fight over love.  Wednesday, after a Connecticut judge cleared the way, same-sex couples began their marriage settlements in what many called a rebound for the gay-rights activists still enraged over the vote in California. If you think that proposition 8 doesn't concern you because you aren't gay nor have any friends that are, you are WRONG.  Keith Olbermann does a beautiful job of showcasing why Propostion 8 matters to every HUMAN in this country. There is a Proposition 8 Protest today in NYC at the NY Manhattan Morman Temple, 125 Columbus Avenue at 65th, 6:30-8:30pm.  Bring signs!
