The question that is lingering on everyone's minds is: Did May Day save Occupy Wall Street? Yesterday the OWS movement teamed up with labor unions and immigration-rights activists to march down Broadway to the Financial District, and drew massive crowds in its path. Aside from the Broadway march, other protests spurt up throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, and across the country in cities like Detroit and Chicago, and even abroad such as in London and Sydney. Since their eviction from Zuccotti Park in November, the movement has been uncharacteristically quiet, and yesterday was their official moment of resurgence. What will happen next? I guess we will just have to wait and see. Check out the photos below. More»

Today, as part of the "National Day of Action for the 99%," Angelenos stepped out in numbers for marches that shut down major city streets and we were there to capture the action (and weed vapors). [Photos via Getty] Yesterday, scores of activists protested in London as world leaders arrived for the G20 summit. Among demanding action on poverty, climate change and jobs, the group of (mostly young people), had quite a fun time! There was singing, yelling, dancing. Russell Brand was even there! (see first photo below). Sure there were a few injuries or two, but all in all, protests have never been so much fun! And all of this for free! What a deal! When do we get to have our own fun you ask? Well, if you should feel so inclined, it looks like a "civil demonstration" is brewing in on our own island tomorrow against the failed bailout of failed commercial institutions. [Information Here]
