Last night, the place to be was the Versace sponsored Whitney Studio Party (stay tuned for full coverage, later this afternoon!), hosted by the Arts Council, chaired by Penelope Cruz and organized by committee members including our own Rachelle Hruska. Clad in and accompanied by Keith Lissner, she welcomed patron partiers  Lindsay Lohan and Donatella Versace (above); just a few of those who turned out in art chic for honoree Leonard Lauder. Dressing the part, however, does not always mean good behavior. Lindsay Lohan is very much case-in-point. More»

Go HERE for more photos from the day, and Bachelors: TAG YOURSELF in the gallery!

Getting to know Cosmopolitan’s 51 hottest bachelor’s as they trample around NYC? Not bad for another day of work. Yesterday, we spent the day with the winning bachelor’s from each state. We truly enjoyed the hours spent with these men…they ARE more than just a good pair of abs, after all. Seeing our city through their bright eyes reminds you of the magic of NYC. From the Today Show to Sirius Radio to Lunch at the Hearst Building, to the Wilhelmina Modeling center, it was quite the whirlwind. The big end was the party at Greenhouse, where editor Kate White announced each and every Bachelor as they strolled down the runway for all of us. (Finale above).More photos and story, including a full list of the bachelors by state below… More»

Running from one show to the next, and party hopping can take a toll on a girl (or a boy!). So how did Rachelle, Douglas Marshall and I do it all week? Sorry, no magic spells to share with you, but we can let you know what we brought around in our bags all week to get us through the madness. Between the three of us, we think we should have you pretty much covered. Just in case you find yourself in a bind come FW Fall ‘10. See ya in February! We’ve got a few simple tips for pulling your act together so even if you’re not feeling up to speed, no one knows that you’re feeling like a bona-fide hot mess.

Sophia Lamar, Lady Bunny[All photos by PATRICK MCMULLAN for PMc]. Last night, one of the most anticipated afterparties of Fashion Week took over the Hiro Ballroom. Marc Jacobs (after showing up with a slew of body guards) brought Lady Gaga to celebrate another eclectic and successful show, demonstrating that the designer who has delivered everything from kilts to cameltoe is showing no signs of slowing down. WWD live tweeted the evening, which included Julia Restoin Roitfeld, Patrick McMullan, Janet Jackson, Lindsay Lohan, Lily Donaldson, Mickey Boardman, Lorenzo Martone, Lauren Santo Domingo and Perez Hilton, right after he spoke with Rachelle about his adventures in show hopping (check out the video, soon). Diane von Furstenberg[All photos by PATRICK MCMULLAN and JONATHON ZIEGLER for PMc]. Diane von Furstenberg is the every woman’s woman, something obvious from the attendance of her runway show in the tents, yesterday. Blake Lively, Candice Bergen, Giancarlo Giammetti, Simon Doonan, Rachel Zoe, Carine Roitfeld, Andre Balazs, Patricia Field, (husband) Barry Diller, Fran Leibowitz, Fern Mallis, Cathy Horyn, Phillip Bloch and Rachelle Hruska came to see the latest looks from the designer, wrap-dress creator, AmEx spokeswoman, dispenser of life lessons on “The City,” power couple half, part royal, 70’s sex kitten, CFDA big wig, and oh yeah, mother. Not just an authority on what to wear, this lady clearly knows what lifestyle is all about. More»
