Everyone loves a red carpet event. The opportunity to watch gorgeous people wear gorgeous things is intoxicating. But no red carpet is more important to true fashionphiles than the annual Met Ball in New York City. In support of the museum's famed costume department and rotating fashion exhibit, the gala is an opportunity for designers to stand in the spotlight alongside there "invited" starlets wearing their creations. Last night at Slate, Daniel Radcliffe raised a glass (and a ping pong paddle!) with cast and crew in celebration of the end of shooting for Kill Your Darlings, a literary crime caper involving Beat poets Jack Kerouac, William Burroughs, and Allen Ginsberg. Although Mr. Radcliffe was a little press shy, we talked to co-stars Michael C. Hall, Ben Foster, Dane DeHaan, and Sara Hollis in between serves and asked: who is your favorite writer? Happy Coachella Day 2012 numero dos! Weekend 1 saw chilly crap weather no one was mentally or emotionally prepared for no matter how well they packed according to the forecast. Me? I chose to ignore weather reports and had to resort to buying a pair of $10 Wal-Mart jeggings from the childrens department since I didn't pack a single pair of pants because I'm such an idiot. Please eat something, only hummingbirds can exist solely on juice, but you're a human. Yes you are! Hopefully one who will be heading to the desert in a few short weeks and we know how important it is that you hit the shows, parties and what have you in style. That's why Dena Silver put together this super comprehensive guide to Coachella weekend looks. More»
