What better way to help the Hudson Terrace kick off it's grand opening, than a private party for the Real Housewives of New York Finale Party hosted by the one and only Jill Zarin. We got to experience "Kelly-time" first hand this past Friday, at Kelly Bensimon's Birthday party, held at the Gates, the latest Chelsea hot spot. The entrance, which literally looks like a set of midieval gates, led into a lounge of hot guests, signature drinks, and bartenders that were almost as smoking as the fireplace. But most importantly, there was the Birthday girl, holding court in what looked to be some form of shiny Mexican poncho, with strands of beaded fabric down to her knees over a pair of ripped jeans (and I would have put money on her wearing something short and tight). While I didn't get to try one of the cute little cupcakes with Kelly's name and a full body photo of herself on them, I have a funny feeling they weren't cooked up by Chef Bethenny Frankel.

[The Owl in Question, hanging from Kelly's neck]

From the tipline: Kelly Bensimon is NOT a jewelry designer as this week's Real Housewives of NY would like you to believe.  In fact, that Owl design that she proudly displayed on this week's show are pieces STOLEN from one of our favorite designers, Celeste Greenberg, founder of Tuleste (and an ACTUAL designer).  It gets better: not only are the owl designs NOT Kelly's, she is currently tied up in a lawsuit about the stolen property with Tuleste!

We spoke to Celeste (who is at Coachella), who declined to comment, but we got confirmation that the lawsuit was indeed in progress…
