[Picture via Hamptons] If you remember not too long ago, we were scrambling to find activities to entertain ourselves come Monday, when the majority of our weekend friends boarded the Jitney to head back to Manhattan (suckers). Luckily, we got loads of feedback from readers, telling us their suggestions for everything from bars to restaurants. When we heard about the $25 prix fare menu and drink specials at Georgica, thanks to DJ M, that happen every Monday, we knew where we would be after we wrapped up the first workday of the week. But we were not prepared for what head chefs Robert Hesse and Seth Levine had in store for us.

Paula Froelich, author of her new book , Mercury in Retrograde, and Deputy Editor of Page Six hosted a book release party this past Friday. The private party was held at Georgica Restaurant & Lounge in East Hampton, NY. Last night Byrdie Bell and Brian Atwood hosted an event at OpenHouse Gallery honoring Role Play Rene, a book featuring three magnificent works of art: the photography of Tony Duran, the Spring '09 footwear line of Brian Atwood, and the body of Rene Russo. While neither Tony or Rene could make the party, NYC socials like Lauren Santo Domingo, Genevieve Jones, Olivia Palermo and designers Erin Fetherston and Elise Overland, amongst others, came to view the blown up versions of the book's pages. Now the real question on everyone's mind: How does a 55 year-old have legs that great, Ms. Russo?
