While we were chatting with society photog Patrick McMullan, he made the bold statement that the Boom Boom Room in the Standard Hotel was the biggest opening since Studio 54. After considering it, he might be right (the man’s definitely an authority, having been to both).  Just sitting in Andre Balazs’s new spot, you can feel the scene. Last night at the Downtown Armory, Miss Paris Hilton made quite an impression. She managed to pose with at least half of the 2009 FIFI Awards guest list. The FIFI Awards are called ‘the Oscars of the fragrance world.’ The Fragrance Foundation celebrates and awards the fragrance world once a year. So perhaps Paris so this as a chance to promote herself many fragrance products. More»
