On Wednesday, socials gathered at Mad Rose Tavern in Arlington for Guest of a Guest's patio happy hour. It was perfect weather for sipping on rosé, beers and margaritas outside, and a misting fan by the door further kept the heat at bay. More»

Remi Laba and Aymeric Clemente are considered to be the pioneers of Saturday brunch parties, and last Saturday the two brought was is to be considered the "original brunch" back to the Meatpacking District. After Laba and Clemente left 13th Street Entertainment, they took the Bagatelle name with them and relocated to One Little West 12th Street, which used to be home to the restaurants The Collective and One. via hamptons.guestofaguest: Day & Night held a wild, champagne and sparkler filled party at Gurney's Inn. .We learned some lessons from these drunk bafoons. For one drinking a bottle of rosé that is half the size of your body to the face will undoubtedly lead to some sloppy outcomes..MORE>>>

Day & Night came back to Gurney's Inn over the weekend to celebrate it's addition to St. Tropez, and it was messy -- the kind of messy where your bangs are soaked in sticky champagne and plastered down on your forehead and your dress is splattered and stained with cranberry juice and vodka. So what are some lessons we've learned from these drunk bafoons? Well, for one drinking a bottle of rosé that is half the size of your body to the face will undoubtedly lead to some sloppy outcomes... More»

via hamptons.guestofaguest.com: July 14th is France's national day and commemorates the storming of the Bastille, which took place on July 14th, 1789.  Because of the excitement around this day, we put together some classic French activities and places to go to shake things up. So pump up the Yelle, smoke a cig and get going! MORE>>>

Happy Bastille Day!  July 14th is France's national day --  as it was once called La Fête Nationale (The National Celebration). Bastille Day, commemorates the storming of the Bastille, which took place on July 14th, 1789. This day marked the beginning of the French Revolution. The Bastille was a prison, and even though it only held seven prisoners at the time of its capture, the prison served as a symbol of the power of Louis the 16th's Regime. Therefore, storming of the Bastille signaled that the king's power was no longer absolute, freedom! Because of the excitement around this day, we put together some classic French activities and places to go to shake things up... Rosé is known for being light and crispy, so obviously it's most popular season is summer. However Rosé does carry an air of, shall we say "pretentious sophistication" with it. It's for this reason exactly that I have made a list of the acceptable places to appropriately sip on this summer beverage. Because, let's be honest, ordering rosé at a dive bar is equivalent to asking for your beer pong glasses to be filled with champagne...

[Leighton Meester. Photo by Nick Hunt for PMc] And we're wondering how many magazines are going to make the reference "good dresses gone bad" about Leighton Meester's dress she wore to the premiere of boyfriend Sebastian Stan's movie Spread in Easthampton last Saturday. While Christopher Kane's 2010 Resort collection is a bit on the abstract side - or a lot - there are definitely a few dresses in the collection more suitable for a red carpet movie premiere (although we wouldn't recommend the volcano pants either). Her questionable choice of a short-sleeved, flared dress, with a cut-out at the rib-cage left many people scratching their heads at the step and repeat. Even more confusing than the fit was the gray and orange sky print. The highlight of Leighton's outfit was the pairing of the dress with the Louis Vuitton coal colored suede clutch she carried and Giuseppe Zanotti black strappy sandals... More»

Ed Hardy Wine. As the new Housewives would say, it's juicy and delicious! Why no rhinestones?! The rest of us, however, might agree with early reviews proclaiming it "the douchiest wine ever." Before you jump out of the tanning bed and throw on your pink (stupid word of choice on the butt) jumpsuit, please remember that Mr. Tattoo is probably not the one to trust with wine pairings for that nice dinner you are planning.
