James McAvoy, Robin Wright, Evan Rachel Wood, Kevin Kline, Tom Wilkinson, other members of the cast and celebrity supporters came out to watch. Each Fashion Week, a certain dance occurs, both for the city's brightest young things and for its hottest new places to carry them into the morning. Status this week has little to do with your front row fashion seat (at least not anymore), and a lot to do with which high end after-party you are spotted attending, and where its being held.  And, while this season there's been no one clear winner for "new it-spot," (Le Baron was an anticipated fav, though that has been stalled--and, after last night's Zspoke party, it's clearly still tough to beat the Boom Boom), there is a new player hitting the city's FW party circuit: meet Mister H. in the Mondrian Hotel. Woody Allen took a break from battling American Apparel to attend the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of his new movie, "Whatever Works" on Wednesday night at the Royalton Hotel. The film marks the end of Allen's five year hiatus from shooting in his beloved New York City.  Celebrating Allen's cinematic homecoming were "Whatever Works" stars Evan Rachel Wood, Larry David, Patricia Clarkson and Henry Cavill, as well as Tribeca Jurors Mary-Kate Olsen, Bradley Cooper, Parker Posey, and Melissa Leo. Let us catch our breath before we begin. Ok, ready, here we go.

We began our night with dinner at La Esquina with Matt Levine. Matt is the owner/designer of Steelo Clothing but we weren't there to discuss clothes. He was excited to tell us about his newest venture, The Eldridge. The Eldridge is the name of the new club that is going to be opening within the next couple of weeks. We know you've all heard this before, but we believe this time it's true, the Eldridge is going to be unlike any club in New York City. The Eldridge is going to be more exclusive and luxurious than anything currently out there. It is going to raise the bar on New York nightlife. And that's all we can say...for now.
