Fans of fashion celebrated their independence early this year at Samantha Thavasa , where Q Magazine and Tinsley Mortimer hosted a cocktail party in celebration of the holiday. Congregating amidst the Mortimer-designed purses were David Patrick Columbia, Susan Shin, Kristian Laliberte, Luigi Tadini, and Euan Rellie.

Everyone has been talking about Tinsley's cameo on Gossip Girl lately. We hear that Tinsley plays herself in the episode, which was filmed in Long Island, where the cast is attending a "white party" in the Hamptons. Today, we also hear that she is wearing her own Samantha Thavasa bag design on the show.
