Summer time is so close we can smell it!! And some summer survival essentials include fruit...and alcohol. Belvedere knows the importance of the summertime cocktail, and thus have launched their Macerated Black Raspberry vodka with a grand party last night. The event, held at a pop-up space at Mercer Street in SoHo, was hosted by Estelle and designer Jonathan Kelsey and gave guests the chance to sample complimentary cocktails made with Belvedere Black Raspberry Vodka. Last night we never thought we would get a cab in the crazy all night rainstorm, but the gods were kind and we got one in minutes. Unfortunately the gods care nothing about traffic and it took us half an hour to go less than 30 blocks for our first stop at the Quest/Ivanka Trump party uptown. We literally walked in, saw Ivanka and left. We are sure it was a lovely event but the space was very small, coupled with wet coats and the warmth we decided not to stay and headed for our next stop the Louis Vuitton/Teen Vogue party.

We began our evening at The Waverly Inn. Great table, great food, great company - what else need be said? others at Waverly included Robert Deniro, Kevin Costner and Natasha Richardson.
We then headed to the wedding reception of Michael Lucas and Richard Winger. Some of you may know Michael (probably more than care to admit) as one of the most popular gay porn stars. He is always a gentleman and the consummate host. He and Richard met 8 years ago at a Holiday party and have been together ever since.

Last night began with a committee meeting for the Trinity Place Holiday Fundraiser. Trinity is a homeless shelter for LBGT teens in Manhattan. Our event is being held next Tuesday, December 2nd at Aspen Nightclub. Scott was asked to be on the benefit committee by our friend Matt Tratner and others on the committee include old friends Scott Sigler and Douglas Hill along with new friends including Josh Wood, Oscar Apaydinli, Russ Williamson and Mike Ruiz. We definitely encourage everyone to try and stop. It is for a great cause and tickets are only $25 to drink all night! Now that's a bargain in these recessionary times!

So nobody will believe us, but we seriously planned on a a very quiet evening. We attended the TImo! event at Phillips de Pury because we adore TImo Weiland, and planned on heading home afterwards. As they say the best laid plans.... At the event we spied all the usual suspects including: Peter David, David X. Prutting, Sarah Basile, Jules Kirby, Devorah Rose, Paul Johnson Calderon, Kristian Laliberte, Leven Rambin, Mike Nouveau, Dalia Oberlander, Susan Kilkenny, Luigi Tadini, Arthur Boujenah, William Heath, Tia Walker, Liam McMullan, Annabel Vartanian, Ally Hilfiger, Joseph Ungoco, Allan Rish and many, many more. The event space is actually a great art gallery and people were checking out the art as much as they were checking out Timo's wild neckwear.

Friday night was the annual Out 100 party held at Gotham Hall. Its always one of the best parties of the season and this year's was no exception. We headed to the party with Leven Rambin and met up with Timo Weiland. The funny thing about gay guys is that they all think they're VIP so when we got to the party, the main floor was almost empty but the VIP was overflowing to capacity! As DJ Mike Nuveau said, "There are more VIPs then Ps here!" We decided to hobnob it with the regular folk and were joined by Richie Rich, Joe Green, Jasen Kaplan and Aloisio Villa Boas.

We began our night at the Cirque de Soleil's show Wintuk. We've seen a lot of their shows, including ones in Vegas, so you don't expect a lot of coherence, just entertainment. This one had something to do with a boy trying to find snow for his village and featured freaky singing lamp-posts. We realized something though. We actually enjoy the shows much more when the cast is half naked. Seeing as this was winter themed, we didn't get to see much flesh. Funniest thing we saw all night? As we were entering MSG a bunch of the performers standing outside smoking cigarettes. Well, they are French right? Well at least French Canadian.

It was another long weekend for us but rather than bore you with a lot of details we will just give you the highlights:
We headed over to Eldridge early Friday night for Richard Branson's book signing. Richard was sweet, jovial and posed for pictures with whomever asked. We jokingly asked him for some free Virgin Atlantic tickets and he laughed. Others at the party include Greg Link, Brad Leinhardt, and Brianna Swanson. Afterward, we headed over to dinner at Thor (Nancy Allen sat across from us) then the new Friday night party at Megu where we ran into Sparrow, Tim Garcia and a lot of models. We headed back to the Eldridge for the remainder of the evening before heading home.
Look who made the cover of VOCUE magazine! It's our favorite nightlife ruckus-causers, Scott Buccheit and Naeem Delbridge. These two are making sure that the party never dies in our city, whether that be on the LES, MePa, all over downtown, the West Village, Chelsea, Battery Park....YOU NAME IT!

As many of you know, we were two of the Executive Chairs of the Grassroot Soccer event held last night, along with Gillian Hearst Simonds and Christian Simonds. Grassroot Soccer was founded by Ethan Zohn (former Survivor winner) and supports AIDS education in Africa. The celebrations began yesterday with an All-Star soccer match in Chinatown, and then moved on to Marquee for the evening's festivities.

Ok, time for a little shameless self-promotion. As GofG readers know, in addition to my nightlife exploits, I also have a day gig. I own a photo agency called Artwing . We are a full service photo agency that specializes in fashion, advertising and celebrity. We recently began an exciting collaboration with the newly revamped Interview Magazine. In addition to a full page in the October issue of Interview, we are also co-hosting a masquerade party next month that promises to be one of the best parties of the season. Keep reading here for more details and pick up your October Interview Magazine with James Franco on the cover. Special thanks to Glenn O'Brien, Fabien Baron and especially Susan Kilkenny for making this happen.
