Speaking on the economic crisis with a friend who works for a hedge fund.

Friend - “I’m not worried, i’m not going to lose my job.”
Scott - “No, it’s going to hunt you down and fire you.”

So what to do in these uncertain times? Our answer - go out and party! And party we did. We began our day by visiting our photographer Eric Ray Davidson’s photo shoot for Men’s Health. He was shooting for a new style section for the magazine and his subject was Hunter Parrish. Besides starring in Spring Awakening on Broadway, Hunter is also one of the regular’s on Showtime’s “Weeds.”

We then went to the premier screening of two Showtime series, Californication and Dexter. The screening was held at the W Hotel in Union Square. Naeem was unable to make it, but Scott soldiered on with Grace Gomez Brea as his date.

Being a bit crazed during Fashion Week, we really could not find the time to post.  So here’s the Scott and Naeem Fashion Week Recap:

Monday: As you read on GOG previously,  we hosted a party at The Eldridge for Lydia Hearst.  We started our night at the Nigel Barker book party at the Soho Bloomingdales.  We then met Lydia for a pre-soiree dinner at Koi, where we were joined by Matt Levine, DJ Angelos Styliano and Dannity Kane’s Aubrey O’Day.  As was reported the party was a huge success and fun for all in attendance.

Tuesday: found us at a hospital for a sick friend until nearly midnight.  After being in a hospital for that long, neither of us had it in us to make any fashion parties.

Those uber exclusive Eldridge cards are out just in time for fashion week, and DBTH is sad that he didn’t get one:( Awww….maybe Scott and Naeem will share? Ha the odds of that are about the same as Sarah Palin finding the father of her 17 year old daughter’s baby.

Dorothy was definitely right, because who has the time? Yesterday was another hectic day for us. We started off by stopping by our photographer Sergio Kurhajec’s photo shoot at the Empire Hotel. Sergio was shooting the Resort campaign for Philip Bloch for Emma and Posh. Philip is already famous for styling celebrities such as Halle Berry, Nicole Kidman and Beyonce in other designers’ clothing. Now they will have the option of wearing clothing designed by Philip himself.

Last Wednesday was the latest monthy party called Angels and __ at Angels and Kings in the East Village. We co-hosted the event along with Patrick McMullan, Sparrow, Dr. Mark Warfel, Alan Rish, Juliano de Rossi and Eric Spear. This month’s party proved to be the best ever with the hottest crowd yet.
