It may be approximately zero degrees outside, but that didn't stop some fashion-loving New Yorkers from celebrating summer last night, as Simon Kneen hosted a dinner in honor of Banana Republic's Summer Heritage Collection at Indochine. The collection is Kneen's first since he took over as creative director, and will heavily feature sustainable fabrics-such as soy silk-as well as a softer and more contemporary silhouette. Guests at the event included Derek Blasberg, Meredith Melling Burke, Rebecca O'Neill, Michelle Hellman, Aya Kanai, Kate Lamphear, Hal Rubenstein, and Anne Christensen.
