Things slowed down in the city this weekend as thousands flocked to weekend destinations. The most popular was the Hamptons, where New Yorkers dusted their summer shares, put on their best polo shirts, and most importantly, partied! Take a look at the hottest events that happened out east this past weekend! More»

  • This shotgun-wielding local sure knows how to make the Social Life Magazine release party more interesting...[Scallywag&Vagabond]
  • But you know what's more frightening?  The King Kullen parking lot.  [PlumTV]
  • Or worse yet...a less-than-lush lawn. The horror!  [Hamptons.com]

[Photos by Adriel Reboh for PMc] By now you may have heard of Castlestock this past weekend, or even more likely, the man behind the madness, Sir Ivan, a fixture on the party scene in the Hamptons. If not, we're sure you've seen him around Lily Pond or the Social Life Estate or plenty of other places rocking his capes and elaborate outfits. We think this one may take the cake, fitting his Woodstock themed party perfectly. The psychedelic outfit was really brought out by the strobe lights used and was emphasized by a number of cape changes (both sporting large peace signs). Even though the majority of Sir Ivan's guests took part in the "mandatory flower" dress code, he by far won in the 60s/70s theme. We have to give him major credit - He may be the only person we've seen who can mix 3 patterns, a cape, and 25 colors, and make it work. Full coverage from Castlestock to come! Social Life Magazine celebrated their latest issue Saturday with their cover boy and professional race car driver, Tim George Jr. who told us he missed a race earlier that day to make it to the bash to party with guests including Social Life Magazine publisher Justin Mitchell along with Heather Mills, Alex McCord, Simon van Kempen and many others...Sounds like a dedicated party-goer to us. DJ Tyger Lily spun for the first half of the party followed by Tim's buddy DJ Mister who had the crowd in the mood to tear it up on the dance floor by sun down. Photos by JT WHITE below... More»

[A very soaked Roger Gladstone. Picture by PATRICK McMULLAN for PMc] Even the most interesting of parties can sometimes need a pick me up every now and then. And if you've ever told us you haven't hoped that someone at a party made a slip, a spill, a slight trip into the pool to spice things up a bit - well, we might have to call your bluff on that one. While we think all the cannonballs and thigh-high H2O dance parties that have occurred so far this summer at the Social Life Estate seem to be at the swimmers own desire, regardless, when you mix booze and a pool you're bound to get some disasters... [All photos by KirillWasHere] Is a dance floor needed at the Social Life Estate?! These party-goers seem to think so even though the lack of one did not stop the dancing machines from tearing it up poolside at the Social Life Magazine's July Issue Party. The poolside soirees at the Social Life estate have been in full swing almost every weekend since Memorial Day and while the parties have been a hit amongst the Hamptons party scene, they have yet to turn rowdy...Until now.

[Beth Ostrosky and Justin Mitchell. All photos by ROB RICH] Social Life Magazine teamed up with Halston last weekend for a trunk show and cocktails benefiting the Wildlife Rescue Center. Animal rights enthusiast Beth Ostrosky hosted the fashionable soiree for a plethora of guests at the magazine's Water Mill Estate. Mrs. Stern told guests of her connection to the Wildlife Rescue center, having recently passed her test and is now certified to do her own rescuing…pretty cool! Social Life publisher Justin Mitchell co-hosted the festivities for guests including Cynthia Clift, Heidi Shecter, Sarah Herbert Galloway, Jamie Jo Harris, Josh Guberman, Melissa Zapin, Purdy Pran, Jill Martin, and Chloe Richards.

[DJ TygerLily] It's not that often you get to see a female DJ working the turn tables in New York City, but the Hamptons nightlife scene is all about the lady-spinners taking over parties and clubs throughout the East End. Music vixen DJ TygerLily was tearing up the party with more than just her music as she provided the beats for the Social Life Estate party this past Saturday. What makes her stand apart from other female DJs we are used to, such as Alexandra Richards or Mia Moretti, is her sexy outfit and headphones. Dressed in a white ruffle layered tank top and pink ribbed skirt her jewel studded headphones completed her tiger-licious look.

Even though we didn't see too many 1920's themed costumes at the Social Life Magazine's Gatsby: Under The Red, White and Blue July 4th Party on Saturday, we did see groups of pretty people sporting otherwise patriotic outfits and festively themed attire. Most importantly (at least in the opinion of every hot-blooded American girl there), we also saw Kellan Lutz, and as editor-in-chief Devorah Rose put it, God really did break the mold when he made the Twilight star.

Social Life magazine celebrated their June issue Saturday night with a bash at their Watermill Estate alongside cover girl Jessica Hart. No one took notice of the rainy Hamptons weather that plagued the entire weekend as the house party remained undeterred with cocktails, the tastiest hors d'oeuvres we had all night, and guests including the Trophy Kid cast Ryan Eggold, Nathan Lee Graham, David Gallagher, and Tanya Raymonde fresh from their stop at the Ross School's 6th Annual Club Starlight Benefit in East Hampton. Other party-goers included Nicolas Potts, Scott Buccheit, Naeem Delbridge, David Chines, and of course the hosts Devorah Rose and Justin Mitchell.
