For our first of many parties of the summer, we co-hosted a pool party at Sole East with The Randolph this past Saturday. One problem: The rain. However, that didn't stop party-goers from enjoying the drinks, music and even a few brave souls from getting in Sole East's heated pool. In fact, one week-ender even informed us the water temperature was at a balmy 85 degrees. While that almost made us wish we had brought along our suits (almost), we kept dry and warm with Sole East's inside area, umbrellas and their strong drinks. Of course, a crowd like this doesn't let a little drizzle keep them from going long and hard. The party, which went from 11-9, included everything from dogs to plastic swords to... The Randolph's own Handsome Hari's yellow pants. More»

[Picture via Hamptons] If you remember not too long ago, we were scrambling to find activities to entertain ourselves come Monday, when the majority of our weekend friends boarded the Jitney to head back to Manhattan (suckers). Luckily, we got loads of feedback from readers, telling us their suggestions for everything from bars to restaurants. When we heard about the $25 prix fare menu and drink specials at Georgica, thanks to DJ M, that happen every Monday, we knew where we would be after we wrapped up the first workday of the week. But we were not prepared for what head chefs Robert Hesse and Seth Levine had in store for us.

Set in the quaint setting of Sag Harbor's Madison Street, the Rizzoli Bookstore at Empire Gallery was host to Kelly Klein's book signing of her second photo-collection, Horses, this last Saturday. But don't let the charming outside fool you. Inside, the store was stock full of glamorous guests and eager fans, excited to meet the equestrian slash photographer, not to mention a range of costly and rare books as well. More»

[The party's just begun at Lily Pond. Via hamptons.guestofaguset.com] The newest game in town, Sole East in Montauk, opened it's doors (and it's pool and garden for that matter) to "The Ivy" party. Hipsters from the Lower East Side parts were bused out on a "Beer Bus to Montauk" to play with the crowd that brought us the Chloe 81 (aka the new Beatrice Inn) parties on the island.  The afternoon party continued well into the night when the entire crowd moved locations to Lilypond. Get inside the party and check in on some of your favorite faces that made the trek out to Montauk. MORE >>>

[Kendra Seay, Carson Griffith, Kristin Luciano, Theresa Won] We here at GofG Hamptons were all très bummed that we missed out on partying like a$$holes on a yacht last night.  While we were sitting in the rainy Hamptons at our undisclosed location, it felt like we were teenagers under house arrest - a feeling only exacerbated by the fact that we were watching American Pie and receiving constant tweets, IMs, and texts about how much fun everyone else was having at the Hotel on Rivington rooftop in the city in their cute sailor outfitsWomp womp.  We sought refuge in channel surfing, at which point we had a total DUH! moment when a commercial for USA's new show, Royal Pains (which is set to premiere TONIGHT at 10 pm!), popped up.  Our epiphany went something like this: More»

[Peter Mel, Balaram Stack and Mark Healey]

Yesterday the G of G girls packed up shop and headed over to the Main Beach Surf and Sport in Wainscott for the Quiksilver Pro Surfer autograph session at 6pm. While none of us may know too much about the art of catching waves (my personal knowledge doesn't extend any further than Blue Crush), the timing couldn't be more perfect as our first surf lessons with JT White are right around the corner. Luckily for us, pro surfers such as shortboarder Mark Healey (yes, the same one that was on MTV's True Life), big wave rider Peter Mel, and 17-year old Balaram Stack were there to give us some tips on what to do, and some real true life story on what it's like to be a pro surfer.
