In the past week, President Obama and Jay-Z have rocked the world with their endorsement of same-sex marriages. And while the issue remains a divisive one in American politics, the best arguments for the cause are the successful marriages that have already taken place. From Ellen & Portia to Star Trek's George Takei, here's a retrospective of celebrity couples enjoying wedded bliss. More»

Happy Monday, everyone! Sure, the weekend was pretty rainy, which may (or may not) have affected your outdoor binge-drinking plans, but as it turns out, the real excitement was all indoors anyway, as thousands of our galaxy's greatest heroes, villains and robots got rides from their moms to the Anaheim Convention Center for WonderCon 2012, a ComicCon precursor and, we must admit, a fashion show far more exciting than any that went down in L.A. during a generally unspectacular Fashion Week. But how do these extremely intricate costumes live up to the characters they're based on? Let's dissect our favorites. More»

You had to hand it to Junot Diaz at the Yale Club last night. The Pulitzer Prize-winning author of The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao took decorum at a fancy fund raiser and stood it on his head. Needless to say, he veered toward the scatological. More»

Everyone was up in arms yesterday because of the Vanity Fair's Young Hollywood Issue. Kristen Stewart and Amanda Seyfried were both on the list LAST year...did they really need two years in a row, in lieu of more deserving actresses? Here is who SHOULD have been on the cover... More»
[Photos via the Cobrasnake] The Star Trek premiere in L.A. was full of stars gracing the red carpet, and cameramen waiting to catch their best Trekkie hand signal. "This is definitely the craziest premiere I've been to, and definitely the biggest," explained Rachel Nichols, one of the movie's sexy alien green girls. "It's the hottest ticket in town." And the craziest part may have been the audience of fans gathered outside behind the red carpet. Check out Cobrasnake's shots of all the mayhem... More»
[Photo via The Cobrasnake] I can't say I haven't thought of moving to L.A., the land of the Inn and Outs, and the Cobrasnake. I really want to be able to fit into a mosh pit like this, I even ordered my official Star Trek party shirt in the mail. But, alas, the shirt's come and is yet to be tried on. My skinny jeans and chuck's will only see the streets of Soho this weekend. Because, let's face it. I will never fit in in that photo. Plus, I have enough wannabe hipsters to feast my hungry eyes on around here. They're nothing to write home about. All of this aside, this lad looks like he's enjoying himself. And after all, youth is meant to be enjoyed, in all it's sweaty, boozed up glory. And then forgotten. Right? So, enjoy the ride. More photos below... More»

Is this how Mark gets ready to party, or did he need to wash some of that green body paint of off? More»
