Thursday night, Steven Alan and Babo Botanicals came together to host a private and charitable shopping night at Steven Alan's East Hampton store. The premium child care line Babo Botanicals and Steven Alan couture had discounted products available to purchase for their invited guests. All proceeds went straight to Alice Water's Edible Schoolyard, a NYC organization that builds organic farms in urban schools. The organization strives to teach children from kindergarten to fifth grade how to grow their own foods and prepare easy and healthy meal options. More»

The Lower East Side Girls Club held its Willow Awards and Benefit Gala on Tuesday, with host Rosario Dawson. Guests like Kyle de Woody, Jed Walentas, Steven Alan, The Scissor Sisters, Piper Perabo, Andre J, and Jen Gatien enjoyed music by Moby, great food, exclusive luxury silent auction items, and a live auction of unique commissioned work created by artists Donald Baechler, Robert Gober, Tom Otterness and Kiki Smith, with guest auctioneer Marguerite Van Cook.
