There's no denying that the official draw of New York Fashion Week is getting to see the new collections and shows, but unofficially, we know that no Fashion Week would be complete without the parties. The past seven days proved to be no exception, as our favorite designers and A-listers celebrated everywhere from Bow to No. 8. Click through to see where else the fashion set partied this week. These hot spots are sure to be your go-to venues this spring.
Before a great night out at one of New York's hotspots, a good dinner is in order. Except, no girl wants to walk more than she has to while wearing those 5 inch heels needed to get past the ropes. Club owners have noticed this as a major downside of going out in New York which is why more and more venues have recently been teaming up with top chefs to create a dining option right next door to their club. Some clubs even let you order food from the restaurant to your table at the club making certain their venues are a one stop shop. With that in mind, we give you some of the top places in the city to dine and dance. More»

For most of us New York City folk, crossing the velvet rope into the hottest club is a moment of pure ecstasy. A moment when you can take a hard look at your life and give yourself a pat on the back for being cool enough (or wealthy enough, if you bribed the bouncer). But as Justin Ross Lee sees it, anyone can sneak into a place, and who cares anyway? What's really important are the places you have been banned from -- the hot spots that when you walk up to the door they take one look at your face and know exactly who you are and tell you to turn around and leave immediately. JRL wears his bans like badges of honor, and offers me a piece of advice, “Embrace your lifetime bans: The only thing better than being able to go anywhere- is not being able to go some places. 86 is my favorite number.” So where has the infamous Facebook Jewjetter been banned from? Click through to see, and find out the one place that JRL would never want to be banned from... [All photos via Facebook]

[Ekaterina Rybolovleva, daddy's little girl] After weeks of speculation, it has finally been revealed that a 22-year-old Russian co-ed by the name of Ekaterina Rybolovleva is the lucky owner of the sprawling $88 million dollar penthouse at 15 Central Park West, former home of ex-Citigroup CEO Sandy Weill. While most of us as undergrads slummed it in a 2x4 dorm room, complete with cork-board and plastic IKEA furnishings, Ekaterina is living in the lap of luxury thanks to good ol' Dad. And since 'Rina seems to be just so down on her luck these days, we thought we'd help the rich Ruskie out by finding ways to blow the rest of her cash.
NYC sees its shares of club and restaurant openings all year long. However Fall Fashion week in particular is not only celebrated as the perfect time to launch your hotspot, it's almost a pre-requisite for an immediate A-list crowd to christen your doors. Tonight, after Karl Lagerfeld finishes toasting the fashion elite at his hot-ticket Chanel dinner, his guest will have to decide between not one but THREE different club openings to finish off their start of Fashion Week revelries....
