With the sun shining down over L.A. begging all to come out and play on Saturday, LA CANVAS and ShopWasteland.com teamed up to host The Dive Club, an all-day pool party at the Roosevelt's Tropicana Bar. Between icy summer cocktails, floaties, lounge lamping and catching rays while DJs Mystery Skulls, Kittens, and Keith 2.0 handled the tunes, guests once again enjoyed a sample of the glorious months ahead. Weather-wise, FILTER could not have picked a better weekend for a rooftop pool party to help launch L.A. into summer mode. On Saturday, the brews were cold and the babes were baking as the magazine joined forces with Burton atop the snowboard company's Melrose flagship where they hosted a killer pool party featuring live music from L.A.'s own White Arrows.

On Saturday, LA CANVAS decided to ignore the Gregorian calendar and felt it was high time for a pool party, taking over the Drai's Hollywood rooftop pool for an all-day, booze-infused romp. Listen, as far as we're concerned, if the sun is out and the temperature is warm enough to comfortably prance around in a bikini, we are all about it and will gladly get down with some poolside lamping and shenanigans whenever the opportunity presents itself. Sure, it's only early April, but take one look at these photos from Saturday's party and we challenge you not to ask the same question LA CANVAS posed: is it summer yet??

This morning, a shrewd mother duck who obviously follows the news taught her adorable ducklings what summer in Los Angeles is all about: pool parties.
