Many Hamptons locals might not believe you if you told them there is a premiere automotive storage facility in Bridgehampton. A museum-like garage holding some of the most expensive and unique collector cars to exist couldn't be around the corner, right? But The Bridgehampton Motoring Club (BMC) has been an active storage car business for 10 years, accepting members based off their cars' collectibility -- and now, with a new guy in charge, the space wants to throw parties. Who doesn't love some good vintage and a party? New York Vintage held a private cocktail party last Friday night at the Jarlath Mellett interior design shop in Amagansett. Jarlath and New York Vintage owner Shannon Hoey teamed up to curate the trunk show collection that  recently went on sale to the public. But first, they had to party of course! The event was hosted by GoldBar and Surf Lodge owner Jayma Cardoso, as it was New York Vintage's first ever trunk show. More»

Culture was oozing out of Montauk this weekend as the Montauk Art Association put on their 17th Annual Art Show on the Green.  Artists from across the country (even one from Tibet!) came all the way to the tiny Hampton hamlet to showcase their work to Hamptons art enthusiasts and potential buyers. It was not just a typical night at the Napeague stretch's newest establishment, Banzai Burger. Yes, the lots were packed, the mosquitoes were biting and those herb fries were being shoveled down my throat all too quickly, but on Friday night, Vogue’s Jillian Demling, along with Karen Mulligan from Annie Leibovitz's studio, celebrated the new collection for their Pret-A-Surf swimwear line, making the night also a particularly fashionable one. Dogs, jewelry and drinks made Friday night a particularly tempting night for many Hamptons women who ventured to the London Jewelers boutique in East Hampton for a different kind of cocktail party. The Udell family's London Jewelers and the Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons came together to host The Pet Project, a cocktail party where guests could get a buzz and adopt a puppy. A brilliant strategy that could lead to some big life altering additions. (And was banned in the West Village.) More»

The 3rd Annual Evening of Smiles Event was hosted this past Saturday by the founder and event chair herself, NYC native, Danielle Winik. Gathering philanthropic teens and adults from New York and Hamptons areas, Operation Smile, a non-profit organization which provides free surgery to children around the world born with facial deformities, featured cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, entertainment and a live auction at one of the Hampton’s hot-spots, Axe Lounge. Billionaire Ronald Perelman hosted the jam packed musical charity night at his 57-acre estate "The Creeks," overlooking the Georgica Pond. Performances by Ben E. King, Bettye Lavette, Jon Bon Jovi, Jamie Foxx and Alicia Keys provide the insane line up that entertained the crowd until well after midnight, benefiting Harlem’s Apollo Theater. Guests arrived at 8p.m. in their first class wheels with their pre-purchased $2,500 ticket. More»
