Dubbed "the god-father of pop surrealism" by Interview Magazine, Mark Ryden's collection of offbeat artwork has been given the nod of approval by the household name in glossy coffee-table reads, Taschen, in the form Pinxit, another one of their jumbo-sized publications. Far from your usual Barnes & Nobles book signing, the crowd that gathered up to meet and greet the artist at Taschen's Beverly Hill's boutique last night for the official Pinxit launch event  was composed of dedicated devotee's of Ryden's iconic work.
