The Empire State Building went green for earth day and Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelango were on hand to help turn the master switch that lit up Gotham. Earth day coincided with the 25th Anniversary of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (!) and the original movie was being screened at the Snapple Drive-in Theatre for the Tribeca Film Festival. How I missed this photo-op is beyond me. (Caroline McCarthy-you are partly to blame, it seems!)
