Eve strutted the stripper's stage last night at Westway, the former "gentleman's" club, celebrating the Leila Shams after party with a star-studded crowd including Vanessa Hudgens, Victor Cruz, Rose McGowan, Camila Alves, and The Bachelor's Jenna Burke.  Guest of a Guest asked each star their favorite restaurants and bars in New York. EARTH University Young Alumni Board Chairs Edward Brenninkmeyer and Amanda Hawila, with event hosts Sophie Morrison and Cameron McLain, brought friends from Europe and their American universities together (there was an especially large group of Wahoos from Brenninkmeyer's UVA) for a party at The Bowery, complete with music from Filligar (and later, a DJ). Guests at the Bowery Hotel's Halloween party on Saturday night were supposed to dress as famous New Yorkers, "from Andy Warhol to Annie Hall". This awesome New York Times picture shows a Bowery Barroom from 1905 (a mere 103 years before Guest of a Guest took up residence on the street). Don't you wish places like this still existed? Besides the weird lack of women and bar stools, this locale, with its cast-iron light fixtures and elegant wood paneling would be a nice change from the poster-ridden dive bars of today.
