There was an adoption van outside, and tea sandwiches, pet treats and logo petit-fours inside. Fashion Show alum Daniela stopped in, along with those happy to both browse the fall 2009 pieces and and support a good cause.

Last night, in the Presidential Suite at the W Hotel in Times Square, Fern Mallis, Vice President of IMG, a force behind Fashion Week, and now a face of Bravo’s THE FASHION SHOW, held a private viewing party for family, friends, colleagues, and… us. The newly renovated suite was privy to no more than 25 or so fashion insiders, celebrating THE FASHION WEEK’s arrival to television last night with champagne and companionship, thanks to Fern Mallis herself. And we were there cheering Keith Lissner on (the winner of the first challenge!); Go here to see what he has to say about the show.

Keith Lissner, an obvious favorite of ours, will be the only face (besides hosts Isaac Mizrahi and Kelly Rowland) that we recognize on Bravo’s debut of “The Fashion Show” tonight. Not that Keith needs a show to prove his worth–the city’s top socials have been fans of his pieces for more than a year now. Regardless, we are all excited to see him up on the tube.  Fittingly, Keith has launched his own blog today to make sure that his voice is heard throughout the season. For his personal thoughts, inspirations, likes and dislikes check it out now!

Bravo has finally announced their latest show to premiere on May 7th.  I have been patiently awaiting the announcement so that I could officially congratulate one of my best friends, and favorite designer, Keith Lissner. The Fashion Show sets fifteen professional designers to compete in a competition to have their designs sold in the retail marked.  Isaac Mizrahi and Kelly Rowland are the hosts.
