Last night, the Alliance Française threw their annual Trophée des Arts Gala, where they honored Robert Wilson. We'll have more on the Black Tie event later, but for now, let's talk about the venue. After so many rumors about The Plaza closing, this picture of Grand Ballroom filled to the brim with people, just like the good old days, is the nicest sight we've seen in a while.

Last night, Roger Vivier hosted an exclusive shopping event benefiting The French Institute Alliance Francaise (FIAF).  The non-profit organization hopes to promote and enhance the knowledge and appreciation of French and Francophone culture. Guests included: Ines de la Fressange, Gilles Bensiomon, Pamela Golbin, Sarah Wolfe, Michele Gerber Klein, MarieMonique Steckel, Suzi Winson and others.
