Wednesday, I highlighted my favorite breakfast spots for you to hit up if you're in NYC. Today, I'll do my best to provide a list of some fun activities you can fill up your day with that extend beyond the Central Park walks. I also asked some friends for their tips on where to send tourists. EVERYONE seems to have their favorite NYC spots to show off to their visitors. Here's some I'd actually like to try.

Also, since it's impossible for me to know when you will be visiting the city, it's worth taking a look at our hefty calendar page to check out on what's going on each day you are in the city. And come back next week for my favorite Bars, Brunch, Lunch and Dinner spots!

The ShweebThe Shweeb. See this cool bike-monorail-thing at left? Well, that picture is from a New Zealand amusement park, but we've recently convinced the NYC Department to build one connecting our offices to the High Line. Stanley took a class in grant writing, and it was actually surprisingly easy despite the common conception that New York's bureaucracy is swarming in red tape. hey, if THIS airport in Central Park is a possibility, the Shweeb should have no troubles getting built right? Last night I joined some of New York's best and brightest for The High Line Benefit held at Pier 60.  The invite read festive cocktail, which I guess for most New York men meant wearing the suit you wore to work.  After perusing my almost all black wardrobe, I settled on a red shirt hoping it would up my festive quota.  I was meeting my friends, Christian Simonds and his always beautiful wife Gillian Hearst Simonds, as a guest of theirs.
