The Battle over the Jane continues. The representative of the owners of the Jane Street Hotel has been quoted in the NY Post saying they were not hit with four violations on Saturday. Today, we receive the actual violations. Click below to view the entire 8 pages of documents. The Jane Street Hotel’s Ballroom is now officially closed until November due to the violations, though the sign on the door claims it’s “internal issues.” The front bar will be open. The evening was hosted by Tarajia Morrell and Emilie Jean, with sponsors  including The Smile, Cafe Gitane and Nouvelle Garde. Emilie Jean dressed festively as Marie Antoinette, with other guests decked out as French guardsmen. Adding some extra spice to the evening were a group of French Cancan dancers who looked like they fell straight out of the movie Moulin Rouge.

The hotel above Socialista is about to open HURRAY! The Jane Hotel will open it’s doors to hipsters and socilista’s alike. Sean MacPherson and Eric Goode (of the Bowery and Maritime fame) claim she’s ready to unleash her grittiness to the west village (thought not without a few standard hiccups).
