Sunday marks the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, and there has been no shortage of ways to remember the historic event. In addition to the re-release of Titanic the movie in 3D, a reenactment cruise of the luxury liner left Southampton, England earlier this week, and is retracing the original route of that the Titanic took, including a visit to the spot in the Atlantic where the boat sank. Shannon Davenport and Julia Wilson spend a lot of time together. Not only do the two co-design a just-tough-enough jewelry line Fortune Favors the Brave—they made these super-special studs for Of a Kind this week—but they also live together. Here’s where they go when they aren’t bopping around their Williamsburg pad, according to Shannon. More»
via la.guestofaguest.com The Hamptons can be a mysterious place for an outsider. Our LA Editor, Emily Green, spent some time in Montauk, and more specifically at The Surf Lodge, where she was baffled by the lack of actual surf. (It's ok, we understand.) Check out what else Emily learned in her travels on the east coast. MORE>>>
via la.guestofaguest.com: Our amazing LA editor, Emily Green, was in New York last week. The born and bred Los Angelite started out "in some hippie-dippy weekend retreat," otherwise known as Montauk, hit the Jane, ate food off someone's table and made some discoveries. Among this summer's nightlife metamorphosis occurring out East, Baker (co-owner of The Double Seven) has set up shop in a former Polish Hall in Southampton with his latest venture, The Elm. "Think of it as something like The Jane or Rose Bar, a place to have a nice dinner and drinks after. It's sophisticated chic," said Baker. More»

Leandra Medine represents something of a fashion conundrum: the cover-up aesthetic she promotes on her Man Repeller blog has curated some of the most alluring trends and buzz-worthy looks. This is about being provocative through denial; she is a master at sartorially playing hard to get and turning heads in a major way. More»
