Over the weekend, The New York Botanical Garden held its 2011 Winter Wonderland Ball with guests like Tinsley Mortimer and Charlotte Ronson, Opening Ceremony and Candy Magazine held a party hosted by Terry Richardson and Chloe Sevigny, Z100 rocked out at Jingle Ball, Santas flooded the streets of Manhattan, Malik So Chic had a dirty thirty bash and so much more! Last night's parties were all about Santa!

Last night Tilda Swinton, Elizabeth Olsen, and Charlize Theron hung out at the IFP's 21st Annual Gotham Independant Film Awards, Nur Khan partied at the Electric Room with Scott Lipps, who was celebrating the premiere of Scouted, Julianna Moore celebrated the Launch of Americans for Marriage Equality Campaign, Betsey Johnson had her own pink Christmas tree lighting, New York City Opera held it's Fall Gala and much more! Last night's parties were all about celebrating TV and film.

Champagne is the new water, at least in New York anyway.  Whereas once upon a time champagne was thought of something only the very wealthy and the very discerning of taste drink, now anyone can since there is a champagne for everyone.  We have a lot to celebrate judging by the amount of champagne that flows during brunches and dinners all over the city and have come to see champagne in a different boozier light. The newest brunch party in New York debuted at Brick NYC, owned and operated by Vip Manchanda and coordinated by Daniel Samandarov. Guests snacked on pizza, homemade antipastas, and antipasto by executive chef, Chopped's Warren Schierenbeck. The party at Brick went a little wild with flamboyant sparklers and champagne.
