SPiN, NYC has had a busy week. Last night, Modelina hosted a benefit supporting Haiti at the popular "Ping Pong" club that is perhaps best known as being the catalyst for the end of Susan Sarandon's marriage. Tuesday night, the space hosted friends in the internet/media/tech world of NYC for a competitive Round Robin Match. More»

It had been nine long days since the Thrillist Mystery Jet landed back at JFK after a memorable trip to Jamaica, and all the new media attendees were dispersed throughout New York. Obviously, a reunion on a yacht was in order.

The beaches here are often filled with seagulls, certain times more than others, and while we know lots of people aren't fans of the squawky beach birds (cough Rachelle), they certainly make for a perfect summer print for a bikini, like this bargain version from Target for a mere $28. By matching the bird print top with a navy and white striped bottom it keeps the seagull pattern from becoming overwhelming...

"We Heard" that the biggest party of the weekend would be taking place at Day & Night in Southampton, under Thrillist's command. Ben Lerer's buddies swimming in strawberry Stoli? This was something we had to check out! What we witnessed (besides the pool fights and fist pumping in the video above?) girls kissing, magnum Veuve, ice sculptures, a party bus, pool toys...the list goes on. If you missed out on the fun, don't worry, photos speak a thousand words....

This past Friday marked the first in a series of "Summer Fridays" at the Maritime Cabanas, co-sponsored by Heineken and Thrillist. People lucky enough to get out of work by 5 were able to catch the last rays of sunshine of the day, enjoy beer, and, best of all, SNO-CONES. Jealous? Summer Fridays at the Cabanas will continue until August 28th from 4-8, and while we can't promise there will be Sno-Cones again, sun, beer, and an excuse to start drinking before 5 are guaranteed. By now, you've probably picked up on my love of white bathing suits (is this the third or fourth time I've mentioned it?). Therefore, I find it completely appropriate to stockpile them at every opportunity possible, especially if they happen to be at the extremely reasonable price of $33.98, like this bandeau style bikini from Target. Yes, Target. Because even though we're totally getting an Italian Riviera vibe from this suit, it's not like the thing's going to cost you the price of a plane ticket to get there. Or a round trip jitney ticket even, for that matter.
