If there’s one thing New Yorkers love, it’s good food. This year’s New York City Wine And Food Festival was especially crowded with celebrity chefs and foodies alike. Rachael Ray, Ming Tsai, Paula Deen, Katie Lee, Guy Fieri, Tom Colicchio, Bobby Flay, Rocco Dispirito, and Giada De Laurentis were all on-hand to show off their skills at The Burger Bash and Meatball Madness. Monday night guests gathered in Bryant Park to celebrate the opening of Southwest Airlines‘ Porch, as the company routes its first flights through LaGuardia Airport, this summer. The party, hosted by the Zagat Survey, ‘Wichcraft, and the Bryant Park Corporation, toasted the opening of the porch, which provides park visitors a place to to stop, sit, and enjoy a break with summer cocktails and destination city-themed sandwiches (the chicken parm proudly represents New York) while trying to brave the summer heat.
