Friday night, GGeisha's Dripped fashion collective teamed up with Annex Magazine to host its first “Chic Fashion Soiree” trunk show of 2013 at IOTA Cafe in Koreatown. Feet away from the area's neon boba tea shops were equally colorful models, designers, photographers and creative professionals celebrating Dripped's new monthly residency at the K-town cafe. The kickoff event, "Lovers Of Fashion," showcased installations by local designers Jen Awad, KittenHawk, and Montenegro, with snacks, Peronis, Rony's Photobooth, hair stylists and makeup artists all on hand to make sure everyone looked and felt their best. Who doesn't love some good vintage and a party? New York Vintage held a private cocktail party last Friday night at the Jarlath Mellett interior design shop in Amagansett. Jarlath and New York Vintage owner Shannon Hoey teamed up to curate the trunk show collection that recently went on sale to the public. But first, they had to party of course! The event was hosted by GoldBar and Surf Lodge owner Jayma Cardoso, as it was New York Vintage's first ever trunk show. More»
