The luxury cobbler exhibited pairs of artist-designed shoes reflecting each of five creators’ “humeur,” or mood, at the the Flag Art Foundation. The craftsmanship des createurs, including Frank Gehry, awed sartorial superstars including Tyson Beckford and Kristian Laliberte, who were among the artful soles (he he) on hand to drool over the top tailoring. Music and fashion heavyweights turned up at 1OAK Saturday night to support stylist turned hip hop artist, O’Neal McKnight’s newest release, “The Pre-Prom Mixtape.” McKnight became a hit last year with his star-packed music videos, including “Check Your Coat” (cameos by Swizz Beats and Russell Simmons) and “Back to the Future” which aptly features actor Christopher Lloyd.  McKnight’s buddy, DJ Cassidy, and Jus Ske held down the turntables while guests such as John Legend, Angie Martinez, Tyson Beckford, and Richie Akiva partied the night away. Did you happen to catch the fireworks on the West side of the island last night? They were coming from Hoboken and they were in honor of the W Hotel’s opening of The Chandelier Room. Hospitality and nightlife impresarios Eugene Remm, Mark Birnbaum and Michael Hirtenstein of EMM Group threw a STAR-STUDDED celebration for the opening of their newest venue. Bravo’s America’s Top Model-esque “reality” series Make Me A Supermodel just premeired their second season and designer and season two judge, Catherine Malandrino, wanted to celebrate. Yesterday was the 6th Annual National Underwear Day by Freshpair.com. The underwear company, (led by Michael Kleinmann) who has made it their business in providing us with the freshest underwear around, grabbed Lydia Hearst-Shaw and Tyson Beckford (who both, I imagine look great in undies), to help them host the party and fashion show (minus clothes) at Espace last night.

Last week, hypnotic hosetd the likes of DJ Steve Aoki and Tyson Beckford at Cain.  Still the popular Wednesday night hot spot, Steve Kasuba assured me today that the party is still very much in play.  I will have to look through the pics, as the only time I have been seeing the likes of Steve and Jamie have been in Montauk.
