We are back to the new hot party accessory everyone! BIKES! I caught this man chillin" at Union Square among fellow riders and sporting a tie-dyed Viva Radio shirt. Weirdly, I had already met him a week prior in Brooklyn. I had asked him about that very same shirt (that he happened to be wearing at the time). He claimed his friend who works for the radio station gave it to him... but who knows. I think his hot pink short shorts also give his outfit an extra kick, not to mention match his prime fashion statement... a.k.a. his midlife crisis antidote.
Us normal folk are apparently not the only ones who like to chill out in Union Square and listen to some good jams. This man dressed in a sari-like wrap, a feather halo, and a top hat with a garland of flowers seems to as well. After walking around leisurely for 15 minutes he decided to plop down right next to me and listen to the soothing melodies of a fellow union square regular. To me he looks like and angelic Buddha, but everyone has a right to their own individual unique style right? So if not a helmet, I guess a halo. Union Square must be a pit-stop on his way toward enlightenment.
