Sunday was no day of rest for the fashion set. Lincoln Center was packed to the gills with everyone from the tall to the small.  Some of the biggest names in fashion showed up for the DVF show, including Hamish Bowles, Linda Fargo and Suzy Menkes, who was "not in the mood" for a photo.  Nikki Hilton also wizzed by, wearing cat-eye sunglasses inside, before we could snap a shot of her "weather-be-damned" bare legs and translucent Louboutins.  Luckily, others were more than happy to pose for the camera to flaunt their street style.

There was a time in the not-so-distant past when people waited for fashion week with bated breath in order to catch a glimpse of the designer creations traipsing down the runways. Today, the sartorial creations of fashion's best and brightest are captured on the streets outside of the tents. These street style stars have become as much a part of the fashion machine as the shows themselves. Although arguments can be made about how there are no longer any true originals in the street style world, there are still some that stay authentic and true to their own aesthetic. We've compiled a list of the best street style women that continue to keep us on our toes.

Vogue's team of stylists and iconic photographer Annie Leibovitz are at the White House today to shoot the first lady's second Vogue cover, Washingtonian's Carol Joynt reports.

Her cover will probably run in March 2013, exactly 4 years after her first cover with the fashion magazine. She wore a dress by Taiwanese-Canadian fashion designer Jason Wu, the same designer behind both of her Inaugural Ball gowns.

She'll likely be sporting her adorable new bangs this time, and we hope she'll give a nod to a different fashion designer...maybe an American this time? Either way, we can't wait to see her on the cover soon.
