Nerd Prom in Washington is officially over, and all of the celebrities are back home. From the People/TIME party on WHCD Eve to the Making News Party, from the MSNBC and Vanity Fair/Bloomberg after-parties to the brunches with media elites, here is a look back at the glittery parties of WHCD weekend, in chronological order:

Late on Monday night, A-List celebrities and guests popped into the W Hotel for a party hosted by Electronic Arts, the software company behind games like SimCity, The Sims, Need For Speed and FIFA. The "party with a purpose" celebrated EA's launch of SimCity.edu, and educational initiative that helps children learn about math, science and economics. Although it started late by Washington standards (11pm!), some of the stars still went on to party at the White House across the street afterward. More»

Following champagne and beer showers on the field on Monday after the Washington Nationals won the National League East title, the boys took to the W Hotel rooftop to celebrate, the Reliable Source reported, then late nighted at Ryan Zimmerman's. More»
On Sunday evening, the W Hotel welcomed VIPs from the tennis world for a party to kick off the Citi Open, formerly known as the Legg Mason Tennis Classic. The tournament is also open to women for the first time ever.
After dinner in the ballroom, guests sipped on cocktails and mingled on the W's famous POV rooftop, which overlooks the White House and the National Mall. More»

Last night, Gilt City had a carnival on the rooftop of the W Hotel that featured everything from the W's new summer cocktails to carnival games to carnival treats like corn dogs and candy apples. Bliss Spa (which has a post at the W) provided complimentary massages and nail polish changes, and everyone was going crazy for the gelato from Dolci Gelati. Models, provided by John Paul Hamilton, were dressed in hot pink duds from Lululemon Athletica. More»
