Last night, W Magazine, Burberry, and The New Museum held an exclusive dinner at the Bowery Hotel during the first annual Frieze Art Fair in New York in honor of New Museum artists. The dinner followed a W and Burberry VIP exhibition opening at the New Museum of five female artists including Nathalie Djurberg, Klara Liden, Phyllida Barlow, Tacita Dean and Ellen Altfest. More»

Former Italian model Giovanna Battaglia left her hometown of Milan and relocated to NYC early last year to work as a fashion editor for W magazine. Giovanna has been turning heads in Italy for years, and she's quickly becoming a fixture on many US street-style blogs like The Sartorialist and Jak and Jil -- but there's more to Giovanna than her inventive outfits. Though she's spoken about the difficulties of switching careers, she's managed to break away from her modeling past and make a real name for herself as a stylist and fashion editor, and now she's making a name for herself a New Yorker.
