"Best $2k I Never Spent!" Occupy Wall Street Returns For May Day, Instagram Photo Round Up
The question that is lingering on everyone's minds is: Did May Day save Occupy Wall Street? Yesterday the OWS movement teamed up with labor unions and immigration-rights activists to march down Broadway to the Financial District, and drew massive crowds in its path. Aside from the Broadway march, other protests spurt up throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, and across the country in cities like Detroit and Chicago, and even abroad such as in London and Sydney. Since their eviction from Zuccotti Park in November, the movement has been uncharacteristically quiet, and yesterday was their official moment of resurgence. What will happen next? Last Night's Parties: Nicki Minaj Takes Over Times Square, And DJ Diplo Launches "128 Beats Per Minute" At Milk Studios
Over the weekend in NYC, Nicki Minaj shut down Times Square with her "Starships" performance for the Nokia Lumia 900 launch, DJ Diplo and Shane McCauley celebrated their book launch and photography exhibit "128 Beats Per Minute" at Milk Studios, Fedde Le Grand played at the Hammerstein Ballroom for Act II of Cosmic Opera, Washington Square Park hosted the 7th Annual Pillow Fight, and so much more. These pillow fights are brought to you from the kids at Newmindspace and they started taking place in 2008.
