Well-seasoned bikers mounted their bicycles in Battery Park on Friday morning, and made the long ride out to Westhampton Beach for the third annual Bike to the Beach benefit. Last year the ride attracted over 60 cyclists, and this year there were around 80 riders eager to raise both awareness and funds for those affected by Autism. More»

This turquoise and white zebra print mini car was spotted parked on the streets of Westhampton Beach. Animal prints may have once worked with clothing, however, I did not know that that same trend carried over to the car industry. Could you only imagine if everything that succeeded in fashion also showed up with cars. We would sure have some interesting looking highways and interstates.
On Saturday, we not only got to take a private tour of the Atwater Estate in Westhampton Beach, but were able to witness numerous bidders vie for fine and rare wines at A Christie's First: A Special Sale of Fine and Rare Wines at the Historic Atwater Estate. According to Charles Curtis, head of North American Wine Sales at Christie's, Saturday's sales totaled $1,199,994. The top lot sold was Château Lafite-Rothschild--Vintage 1982 (8 bottles) for $20,400. In addition to the bidders present at the Atwater Estate on Saturday, others participated from Honk Kong, Brazil, U.K, and Japan via phone. $6,000 was raised for the Motion Picture & Television Fund with the sale of the celebrity-signed magnum of Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage 1929 champagne. On Saturday, we were honored to take a private tour of the Atwater Estate in Westhampton, Beach. Len Conway, the owner of the estate, played host on Saturday to A Christie’s First: A Special Sale of Fine and Rare Wines in the Hamptons. This estate boasts an impressive 24 rooms, 6 fireplaces, and has 1,000 feet of private waterfront property. The home exudes an "elegance, history, and Old World charm of a bygone era" according to Kathleen Coumou, VP for the Northeast Region of Christie's Great Estates. More»
