[Charlotte Muhl and Sean Lennon play dress up] Ever have one of those moments when you look around and you realize everyone in the room has a famous mom or dad? And you're just that girl wearing scraps of fur and leather, in an outfit that resembles an extras costume from "Where The Wild Things Are" (and not necessarily in a good way)? No? Well, that's pretty much what happened at Sean Lennon's Halloween Party this past Saturday, where everyone was celebrating his release of his score "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Undead." More»

It's really happening! This fall, one of my favorite childhood books, Where the Wild Things Are, is going to be up on the big screen! Written and directed by Spike Jones (along with Dave Eggers), this adaptation of Maurice Sendak's classic story of Max, a disobedient boy that, after being sent to bed without his supper, creates his own fantasy world of ferocious wild creatures, is sure to be a hit. Staring Forest Whitaker, James Gandolfini, Lauren Ambrose, and others, the film will be in theatres October 19th.
