The Hamptons party scene seems to have a thing for cowboys and cowgirls this summer with Saturday night's Best Buddies Gala marking the third western themed bash we've come across since June. Photos by Adriel Reboh for PMc] This weekend the Summer Kickoff Party for the 2009 Alzheimer's Association Rita Hayworth Gala was held at a private residence in Watermill. Started in 1985 by Princess Yasmin Aga Khan (daughter to Rita Hayworth), the galas and donations together have raised more than $220 million dollars towards the Alzheimer's Assoication. Rita Hayworth, one of America's most glamorous, well-known and sultriest movie stars, unfortunately succumbed to Alzheimer's Disease in 1987. Today the Rita Hayworth Galas are hosted in three cities nationwide including Chicago, New York, and recently added Dallas.
