As every website publishes their "Year In Review" posts, it's going to really seem like 2011 sucked. And between natural disasters and Republican Primary season (which technically hasn't even started yet), I can understand feeling that way. But it wasn't all bad, people. Last night celebrities and guests gathered at the Hammerstein Ballroom for the Keep A Child Alive's 8th Annual Black Ball. Alicia Keys, a co-founder of the foundation, performed for guests and even hosted an impromptu auction of 2 18-karat gold bracelets she was wearing - each sold for $14,000. Guests also enjoyed live performances by Norah Jones, Usher and Will.I.Am. More»

Usher and Alicia Keys gave a killer performance at the Eighth Annual Keep a Child Alive's Black Ball, Amanda Hearst, Lauren Santo Domingo and Carolina Herrera attended the Apollo Circle Event at the Met, Karolina Kurkova graced the red black carpet at the DIA Art Foundation Gala, Zoe Kravitz and Jaime King dropped by the Juicy Couture Spring 2012 Preview and so much more.  Last night's parties were all about charity!
