DC was the second stop for the 2012 Wine Riot tour, a tasting extravaganza organized by the team at Second Glass. Guests came by for one of two sessions to attend fun wine "crash courses," sample some of the hundreds of wines at the event, and keep track of favorites via the Second Glass iPhone app. More»

“This is not your parents’ wine tasting.” That’s what Second Glass co-founders Tyler Balliet and Morgan First wants young Washingtonians to know about Wine Riot DC, the wine tasting event and national phenomenon that teaches the millennial generation about wine in a fresh, fun and casual environment. Wine Riot returns to D.C. on Saturday, May 5, in two sessions (1-5pm and 7-11pm) at Daughters of the Revolution Constitution Hall (DAR). Tickets are available for $50. More»

This weekend in DC was crazy! There was a Wine Riot, Will Farrell accepted his comedy award with a thumbs-down, Christian Siriano threw a fashion fete for Breast Cancer, a bespoke clothier opened shop in DC, and even P. Diddy threw down at Love.

Wine Riot is in DC, and is the final big event of DC Wine Week! Come to the educational wine tasting at DAR Constitution Hall one of their three sessions: Friday, October 21 from 7-11 pm, and Saturday, October 22 from 1-5 pm and 7-11 pm and taste 250 different wines representing regions from all over the world: France, Chile, Greece, Australia, Italy, New Zealand, California, New England and more.
