Francophiles, architectural enthusiasts and everyone in between gathered last night for the Young Patrons Circle of the American Friends of the Louvre Second Annual Benefit. This year the fete celebrated the Louvre Pyramid, designed by preeminent architect (and genius) I.M. Pei. Pei was fittingly honored at The Centurion penthouse, one of the world's first residential building designed by Pei Partnership Architects and co-developed by Stillman Development International. Last night, the Young Patrons Circle for the American Friends of the Louvre held their kick-off party for the Soiree au Louvre. Designer Maggie Norris, along with YPC members David Chines and Gustaf Demarchelier, entertained guests at the private residence of cocktail party queen, Tracy Stern. Francophiles and socials alike sipped on Nuvo (L’esprit de Paris, of course) and white wine, enjoying the Upper East Side views and gracious company.

Plovgh, the new online farmers market
Who knew that the farming world had a trend? Well, Mallory Sustick, a Brooklyn bartender, works like a dog to maintain, promote and advance the online farmer's market startup Plovgh that began after noticing a need for more local farm market distribution.
