After teaming up with The City of New York and the Council of Fashion Designers of America once again, Vogue began the first night of New York Fashion Week with a bang for Fashion’s Night Out. Bergdorf Goodman opened their doors to join the celebration, hosting celebrity bar-tenders Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen as well as other fashion loving personalities including Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, Victoria Beckham and Manolo Blahnik. Last night, the flagship Saks Fifth Avenue store unveiled its new third floor, a home for 23 top designer shops. Vogue and Charlize Theron co-hosted the event, filling the 5,000 foot space with famous friends including Anna Wintour, Oscar de la Renta, Blake Lively, Francisco Costa, Cornelia Guest, Carolina Herrera, Vera Wang, Rachel Zoe, Georgina Chapman, Zac Posen, Penn Badgley, Doutzen Kroes, Christian Siriano, Alexis Bledel, Dylan Lauren, Fabiola Beracasa, Helen Schifter, Lauren Santo Domingo, Mark Badgley, James Mischka, Margherita Missoni and Olivia Chantecaille.

Last night, celebs and movie stars congregated first at Loews 19th St for a screening of “Adam,” a movie starring Hugh Dancy as a gifted young man struggling with Asberger’s Syndrome and Rose Byrne as his unlikely partner. Other familiar faces included designers Charlotte Ronson and Zac Posen, aging actress Olympia Dukakis, and Wintour spawn Bee Shaffer. The cabal then moved a couple blocks northeast for an afterparty at the Gramercy Park Hotel. The Cinema Society, headed by Andrew Saffir, hosted the event in conjuction with esteemed suitmakers the Brooks Brothers.
